The wire is 10 feet off the ground. The blue wire on the left hand side is 4ft 3" off the ground. The post is nearly 12 feet high. His tail comes right down to the bottom of where the stay adjoins the post. He's at least 5 and a half feet long. Not sure of sex but quite placid and has been here for 12+ years but I still don't want to get in his way or near that tail which they can flick really quickly and strongly.
